Define the trigger, process owner, and promised outcome.
Ask the learner to restate the principle using their own example.
Map handoffs from order to production, shipment, delivery, and return.
Work one case together and narrate the decision at each step.
Set a measurable checkpoint at each handoff.
Give the learner a new case; observe the process before offering a correction.
Practice an exception: late supplier shipment and customer notification.
Request an independent explanation and ask which assumptions might change the result.
Write a one-page standard process for a wholesale order.
Include owner, input, output, checkpoints, escalation, and revision date.
Accept a written, spoken, or accessible equivalent response when it demonstrates the same skill. Mark each criterion met, developing, or missing; never mark attendance alone as competency.
